With collection N°1, Papier Francais explores the incredible wallpaper archives of the French national Library in Paris, revealing a meticulous selection of its 64 most treasured wallpapers. Papier Français has sought to intactly transmit the poetry from this magnificent heritage, while remaining faithful to the inimitable authenticity, originality and quality of the printed wallpapers of the 18th and 19th centuries, the periods during which wallpaper acquired the noble status it currently holds today.
