The Aubusson x Papier Français Collection, created in collaboration with restorer and collector Chantal Chirac, is the result of a meticulous and faithful restoration of original Aubusson cartoons from the Archives of the Aubusson Workshop Museum and Chantal Chirac’s personal collection. These cartoons, which originally served as the creative foundation for the production of tapestries, now constitute a rare cultural heritage, bearing witness to the splendor and creativity of the tapestries produced by the Aubusson manufactories. Papier Français’s expertise and craftsmanship in the publishing and restoration of historic wallpapers made the creation of this exceptional collection possible, endowing it with a truly unique character.

DIMENSIONS AND FINISHES

Sisal rustique:
- Roll: 85 cm (33.4 in) x Length on request (minimum 6 meters / yards) / Vertical repeat 100.5 cm (39.6 in).
- Panel: (W) 170 cm x (H) 300 cm - 2 lés (66.9 in x 3.28 yd - 2 drops)/ Panels's pattern scale is doubled compared to the roll format. Panel height can be customised upon request. To cover an entire wall, simply combine multiple panels, designed to align perfectly and create a seamless, virtually invisible transition.

Non-woven matte finish:
- Roll: 70 cm x 9 m (27.6 in x 9.8 yd) / Vertical repeat 82.8 cm (32.6 in).
- Panel: (W) 140 cm x (H) 300 cm / 2 lés (55.1 in x 3.28 yd / 2 drops). Panel's pattern scale is doubled compared to the roll format. Panel height can be customized upon request. To cover a wall, simply join several panels together; they fit together perfectly and seamlessly.
