Conceived as an ode to light, Contrasts explores the relationship between wall and shadow. Lines emerge, withdraw and reappear as daylight moves across surfaces, allowing walls to transform throughout the day. What was once static becomes responsive, carrying emotion through profound depth and measured form.

Etches explores surface through precision and functional logic. Rooted in technical processes, linear grooves are carved directly into the material, producing discreet variations in tone and texture. Depth is articulated through repetition and constraint, allowing light to register as a consequence of form rather than ornament.

Developed in collaboration with Atelier Robert Follie, Surface [lighting] is a bespoke LED system conceived specifically to enhance wall surfaces, and in particular the Surface [cube] wallcovering.

Technical specifications

Optical beams: developed in collaboration with Atelier Robert Follie, they are laser-machined to produce an optimal light beam designed to enhance wall creations.

Colour rendering: warm and faithful to the original tones. The very high colour rendering index of the LEDs integrated into the module ensures both accurate colour reproduction and uniform lighting.

System: comprised of multiple elements.

  • LED module: available in three sizes (25 cm / 9.8 in, 50 cm / 19.6 in, 1 m / 39.3 in), allowing for all possible combinations.
  • Power supply: the modules are powered by LED drivers with a five-year warranty, available in five power ratings to offer maximum flexibility during installation. The drivers are certified for the international market.
  • Dimming and control: the lighting modules can be complemented with accessories enabling dimming and compatibility with the main control protocols (Push-DIM, dry contact, DALI, PWM…).

Installation: Surface [lighting] modules can be installed recessed or surface-mounted, whether on the ceiling, within joinery, or on the floor.
